DayZero Privacy Policy

DayZero is a private quit-habit tracker. Privacy is the foundation of this app — we designed it so that you never have to trust us with your data, because we never receive it.

Data We Collect

Nothing. DayZero collects no personal data, no usage data, no analytics, and no diagnostics. The app has no account system, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind.

Where Your Data Lives

Everything you enter — your habits, quit dates, check-ins, notes, reasons, and settings — is stored only on your device, in a local database. It never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.

• Your data is included in your device backups (iCloud / iTunes) only if you enable device backups — Apple’s own backup services handle that, under Apple’s privacy policy.
• You can export your data as a JSON file at any time from Settings → Export my data.
• You can permanently delete all your data at any time from Settings → Delete all data.

Purchases

DayZero offers optional Premium subscriptions and a Lifetime unlock through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (StoreKit); we do not see or receive your payment details. Apple may process transaction data under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you enable the daily check-in reminder, the notification is scheduled locally on your device. No notification content or interaction data is sent anywhere.

Children

DayZero does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
